It’s 2020 and I appear to be somewhat behind in my posts. I thought it’s about time I did a little (big) update post on what has occurred over the past few (many) months.
‘Night’ is the debut album from musician and composer, Jonny Desai. His album creates relaxing, serene soundscapes and is experimental in his use of instrumentation and song structure. The sense of passion and emotion comes across clearly, both through the music and the vocals.
I am thrilled to introduce Sensory Enigma – a new Gothic synth-wave project.
Sensory Enigma have released their debut single: ‘Sweet Dreams’. Their atmospheric cover of the track, originally by Eurythmics, is incredibly creepy and haunting.

I have been a music journalist for over a year now, and I thoroughly enjoy it.
Being able to hear so much new music from a wide variety of artists and bands is fantastic. It’s always great to see what releases are coming next.

As October is now officially underway, the dreary nights, continuous rain and biting cold creates a desire to return to the warmer months.
Here in the UK 2018 saw a rather unusually warm summer which had a great effect, particularly for music festivals being held. It makes a huge difference not to be swimming in mud when listening to live music.
